EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN VARIASI MEDIA DALAM MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DI SD

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas penggunaan variasi media dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SD. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas I UPT SD Negeri 081 Busak sebanyak 17 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari pretest, posttest, dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada Borg & Gall (1993) yang terdiri dari 10 langkah yaitu studi pendahuluan (research and information colleting), perencanaan (planning), pengembangan desain produk (develop premilinary form of product), uji coba produk awal (preliminary field tasting), revisi produk I (main product revision), uji coba lapangan utama (main filed tasting), revisi produk II (operational product revision), uji operasional (operational field testing), revisi produk akhir (final product revision), diseminasi dan implementasi (dissemination and implementation). Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah penggunaan variasi media dalam pembelajaran, yaitu rata-rata nilai pretest adalah 71,18 meningkat menjadi rata-rata nilai posttest 84,71. Selanjutnya, penggunaan variasi media dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa SD, ditunjukkan dengan hasil rata-rata observasi aktivitas siswa secara keseluruhan mencapai 3,46 dan berada dalam kategori aktif.
