Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; 1) Kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan model problem based learning. 2) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu selama diterapkan model problem based learning. 3) Aktivitas belajar matematika pada siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu selama diterapkan model problem based learning. 4) Respon siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu setelah diterapkan model problem based learning. 5) Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu setelah diterapkan model problem based learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Luwu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan populasi yaitu seluruh kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu dan sampel yaitu kelas X IPA 3. Uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan One sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu sebelum di terapkannya model problem based learning berada pada kriteria kurang dan cukup baik, sedangkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sesudah diterapkan model problem based learning berada pada kriteria baik dan sangat baik. 2) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu selama diterapkan model problem based learning berada pada kriteria sangat baik. 3) Aktivitas belajar matematika pada siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu selama diterapkan model problem based learning berada pada kategori sangat aktif. 4) Respon siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu setelah diterapkan model problem based learning berada pada kategori sangat baik. 5) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa Kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Luwu setelah diterapkan model problem based learning dan berada pada kategori tinggi.
