KEMAMPUAN MAHASISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL TRIGONOMETRI (Contoh: Jumlah dan Selisih Dua Sudut)
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika UNCP dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan rumus jumlah dan selisih dua sudut. (2) kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika UNCP dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan rumus trigonometri sudut ganda. (3) kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika UNCP dalam menyelesaikan soal trigonometri.. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UNCP tahun akademik 2019/2020 sebanyak 60 orang mahasiswa yang tersebar dalam dua kelas paralel. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan trigonometri. Tes tersebut terdiri dari 15 nomor soal berbentuk uraian yaitu 5 nomor soal memahami rumus jumlah dan selisih sudut, 5 nomor soal kemampuan memahami rumus trigonometri sudut ganda dan 5 nomor soal kemampuan menyelesaikan soal trigonometri. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah (1) kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UNCP dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan rumus jumlah dan selisih dua sudut dikategorikan sedang. (2) kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UNCP dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan rumus trigonometri sudut ganda dikategorikan sedang. Dan (3) kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UNCP dalam menyelesaikan soal trigonometri dikategorikan sedang.
