KORELASI KECEMASAN MATEMATIS SISWA TERHADAP PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA DI SMA NEGERI 1 PALOPO

Abstract
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto, bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Kecemasan matematis siswa SMA Negeri 1 Palopo, (2) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMA Negeri 1 Palopo, (3) dan Korelasi kecemasan matematis siswa terhadap pemecahan masalah matematika di SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan angket kecemasan matematis siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan random sampling sehingga terpilih sampel berupa dua kelas dari kelas X dan satu kelas dari kelas XI dengan total sampel sebanyak 93 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis statistika inferensial. Analisis statistika deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan nilai rata-rata 22,31 dan standar deviasi 6,30, kecemasan matematis siswa SMAN 1 Palopo diperoleh rata-rata 64,06 dan standar deviasi 14,81. Berdasarkan analisis statistika inferensial dengan analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat korelasi kecemasan matematis siswa terhadap pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMA Negeri 1 Palopo dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,287.
