Abstract
Jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis lesson study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kolaborasi siswa di kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palopo. Terdapat tiga tahapan lesson study yaitu plan (perencanaan), do (pelaksanaan), dan see (refleksi) dan sejalan dengan tahapan dalam PTK. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIIIC dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam PTK ini adalah tes, angket, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan kolaborasi siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan melihat persentase hasil tes dan lembar observasi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri meningkatkan komunikasi matematis dan kolaborasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Peningkatan komunikasi matematis siswa dapat diukur dari evaluasi tes pra siklus, siklus I dan II, dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada tes pra siklus sebesar 35,94% dengan kategori sangat rendah ke siklus I sebesar 61,83% dengan kategori rendah dan siklus II sebesar 82,48% dengan kategori tinggi. Sedangkan peningkatan kemampuan kolaborasi siswa dapat diukur dari hasil kegiatan observasi yang dilakukan oleh observer dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan kolaborasi siswa pada pra siklus sebesar 59,9% dengan kategori cukup kolaboratif, pada siklus I sebesar 71,41 dengan kategori kolaboratif, dan siklus II sebesar 82,29 dengan kategori sangat kolaboratif. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian di kelas VIIIC SMP Negeri 3 Palopo telah tercapai dengan baik, dan menyarankan agar guru menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri.
