Evaluasi diri terkait efektivitas pengajaran guru pendidikan jasmani penting mengingat tujuan pendidikan jasmani yang sangat luas dan dapat mempengaruhi pengajaran. Namun penelitian-penelitian yang mengungkap evaluasi diri guru pendidikan jasmani terkait efektivitas pengajaran di sekolah masih sangat sedikit. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas pengajaran guru melalui evaluasi diri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey cross-sectional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 102 guru pendidikan jasmani sekolah dasar di provinsi Sulawesi selatan yang terlibat secara sukarela dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Self-Evaluation of Teacher Effectiveness Questionnaire in Physical Education (SETEQ-PE) yang merupakan kuesioner untuk mengukur efektivitas guru dalam pengajaran pendidikan jasmani disekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan skor rata-rata efektivitas pengajaran guru pendidikan jasmani berada pada kategori tinggi (140). Dari hasil analisis berdasarkan gender, diperoleh skor rata-rata guru laki-laki berada pada kategori tinggi (139,5) dan guru perempuan juga berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (142). Tidak terdapat perbedaan skor yang signifikan dari kedua gender dengan nilai signifikansi 0,731.
