Cokroaminoto Journal of Primary Education (CJPE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. CJPE publishes original research and rigorous evidence syntheses that contribute to the advancement of theory, design, practice, and evaluation of teaching and learning in primary education.
CJPE focuses on how primary teaching and learning are planned, designed, enacted, experienced, assessed, and improved. The journal is particularly interested in relationships among instructional design, pedagogical practices, teacher and student activities, classroom interaction, subject-specific learning, learning resources, educational technology, assessment, feedback, and students’ learning processes and outcomes.
CJPE welcomes studies conducted in primary schools, Islamic primary schools, and other institutions equivalent to primary education. Studies in early childhood education may be considered when they address school readiness, transition from early childhood to primary education, curriculum continuity, or foundational competencies with direct implications for early primary learning. Studies involving teachers, preservice teachers, families, communities, or educational policies may also be considered when they demonstrate a direct relationship with the planning, enactment, assessment, or improvement of primary teaching and learning.
CJPE welcomes quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental and quasi-experimental, design-based, research and development, and classroom action research. The journal also accepts systematic reviews, scoping reviews, systematic mapping reviews, meta-analyses, and other rigorous forms of evidence synthesis. All manuscripts should employ transparent and methodologically appropriate procedures and demonstrate theoretical, methodological, or practical contributions to teaching and learning in primary education.
History
Cokroaminoto Journal of Primary Education is a journal managed by the Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo which was first published in October 2018. This journal publishes scientific articles or research results in the field of basic education. As an effort to improve the quality of journal management, in 2019 (Volume 2. No. 1) the management team revised the template so that there were differences in the layout and systematics of writing articles.
Cokroaminoto Journal of Primary Education merupakan jurnal yang dikelola oleh Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo yang terbit pertama kali pada Oktober 2018. jurnal ini merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang terbit secara on-line dan menerbitkan artikel atau karya ilmiah hasil penelitian dalam bidang ilmu pendidikan dasar. sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan jurnal maka pada tahun 2019 (Volume 2. No. 1) tim pengelola melakukan revisi terhadap template sehingga terdapat perbedaan tatak letak dan sistematika penulisan artikel.
Publication Schedule
Cokroaminoto Journal of Primary Education Published twice a year, in April for Issue No. 1 and in October for Issue No. 2.
Cokroaminoto Journal of Primary Education Terbit dua kali setiap tahun yaitu diterbitkan pada bulan April untuk Edisi No. 1 dan pada bulan Oktober untuk Edisi No. 2.
Focus & Scope
The focus of this journal is primary education, which covers related aspects such as students, teachers, teaching materials, evaluation and assessment, curriculum, and lesson study.

Section Policy
