EFEKTIVITAS PENDEKATAN OPEN ENDED PADA MATERI GEOMETRI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) keefektifan pendekatan open-ended dengan strategi effective questions pada materi geometri ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa, (2) keefektifan pendekatan saintifik pada materi geometri ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa, (3) pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di antara pendekatan open-ended dengan strategi effective questions dan pendekatan saintifik pada materi geometri ditinjau dari kemampun berpikir kreatif matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini jenis penelitian eksperimen semu yang melibatkan dua kelas perlakuan. Kelas eksperimen diterapakan pendekatan open-ended dengan strategi effective questions dan kelas kontrol diterapkan pendekatan saintifik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD pada Kecamatan Sabbang Selatan tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalalah UPT SDN 006 Batualang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan UPT SDN 004 Kalotok sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada materi segiempat dan segitiga, angket kepercayaan diri, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menujukka bahwa (1) pendekatan open-ended dengan strategi effective questions efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa, yaitu kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis mencapai KKPD minimal 67 dengan pencapain 100%, rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif secara signifikan mencapai nilai minimal 67, kepercayaan diri siswa mencapai kriteria tinggi lebih dari 68 dengan pencapain 77,27%, dan rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa secara signifikan mencapai lebih dari 68, (2) pendekatan saintifik efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis mencapai KKPD minimal 67 dengan pencapain 82,35% dan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif secara signifikan mencapai nilai minimal 67, kuarang efektif ditinjau dari kepercayaan diri siswa dengan ketercapai 64,71% dan dan rata-rata kepercayaan diri siswa tidak signifikan mencapai lebih dari 68, (3) pendekatan open-ended lebih efektif dibanding pendekatan santifik ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan kepercayaan diri siswa.
