Perbandingan Kemampuan Membaca Pemahaman Siswa Berdasarkan Tingkat Minat Baca antara yang Belajar dengan Metode SQ3R dan Metode Quantum Reading

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa berdasarkan tingkat minat baca antara yang belajar dengan metode SQ3R dan yang belajar dengan metode quantum reading. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas V SDN segugus I Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan desain penelitian treatment by level 2 x 2. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis of varian (ANOVA) two way. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 responden siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat perbedaan siginfikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa yang memiliki minat baca tinggi antara yang belajar dengan metode SQ3R dan yang belajar dengan metode quantum reading, hasil ANOVA diperoleh nilai probabilitas signifikansi (P sig) 0,000 < daripada nilai kritis (α) 0,05 dan didukung oleh nilai F hitung 94,773 > dari nilai F tabel 4,11; (2) terdapat perbedaan siginfikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa yang memiliki minat baca rendah antara yang belajar dengan metode SQ3R dan yang belajar dengan metode quantum reading hasil ANOVA diperoleh nilai probabilitas signifikansi (P sig) 0,005 < daripada nilai kritis (α) 0,05 dan didukung oleh nilai F hitung 10,484 > dari nilai F tabel 4,11
