Identifikasi Kesalahan Mahasiswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal-Soal Komposisi Fungsi Pada Mata Kuliah Kalkulus Dasar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal fungsi komposisi oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, dengan memberikan 2 jenis soal kepada 43 Mahasiswa. Hasil jawaban mahasiswa kemudian dianalisis dan dikelompokkan ke dalam kelasahan konsep dan kelasahan prosedural. Kesalahan konsep seperti penentuan fungsi f (x) dari fungsi komposisi yang f(x) dan f o g (x) sudah diketahui, dan miskonsepsi terhadap fungsi komposisi f o g (x) = g o f (x). Sedangkan kesalahan prosedural seperti kesalahan dalam melakukan perhitungan atau komputasi, dan kesalahan dalam melakukan operasi aljabar.
