Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memperoleh gambaran tentang peningkatan mutu kurikulum sekolah di SD melalui K-13. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kepustakaan (Liberary Reserch), dengan pendekatan konten isi. Penulis berkesimpulan bahwa peningkatan mutu kurikulum Sekolah Dasar melalui K-13 diarahkan pada peningkatan peran kepala sekolah yang lebih optimal, adanya kompetensi khusus yang dimiliki oleh guru tentang kurikulum 2013 (K-13), peningkatan kompetensi siswa baik dalam pengetahuan, keterampilan maupun karakter siswa, dan terwujudnya proses belajar yang efektif.
