Perbandingan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Antara Penerapan Model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Dengan Problem Based Learning (PBL) Pada Materi Perubahan Lingkungan Di Kelas X MAN 3 Kota Padang

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar, peserta didik kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, masih terfokus pada guru, dan peserta didik sulit memahami konsep pada materi pembelajaran biologi. Tujuan peneltian untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan Team Game Tournament (TGT) dan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini termasuk eksperimen semu/quasi exsperimental dengan desain Randomized Control-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas eksperimen I (X.7) dengan 35 peserta didik dan kelas eksperimen II (X.2) dengan 37 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes dengan analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan uji Independent Sample T-Test dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai selisih antara posttest dan pretest yaitu α = 0,05 lebih besar daripada Sig (2-tailed) atau (0,05 > 0,006) Artinya H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian berarti terdapat perbedaan yang berarti hasil belajar peserta didik antara penerapan model pembelajaran TGT dengan PBL dimana berdasarkan nilai N-Gain ditemukan bahwa kelas eksperimen I yaitu, 24,55% lebih baik dari pada kelas eksperimen II yaitu, 11,1% pada materi perubahan lingkungan di MAN 3 Padang.
