Pemberdayaan KWT Sejahtera Grand Sulawesi melalui Pengolahan Mangga Off Grade Menjadi Selai sebagai Upaya Diversifikasi Pangan

Pemanfaatan mangga off grade di masyarakat masih belum optimal meskipun buah tersebut masih layak konsumsi dan memiliki potensi untuk diolah menjadi produk bernilai tambah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Sejahtera Grand Sulawesi dalam mengolah mangga off grade menjadi selai sebagai upaya diversifikasi pangan dan peningkatan nilai ekonomi produk lokal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 11 Januari 2026 di Kota Parepare. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan tingkat pemahaman peserta dari 46,6% sebelum kegiatan menjadi 60,2% setelah kegiatan dilaksanakan. Peserta juga mampu mengikuti proses pengolahan selai mangga off grade secara aktif mulai dari persiapan bahan hingga proses produksi dengan memperhatikan prinsip sanitasi dan keamanan pangan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengolahan mangga off grade menjadi selai dapat meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan hasil pertanian serta berpotensi mendukung diversifikasi pangan dan pengembangan usaha berbasis sumber daya lokal.
