GAMBARAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR REFLEKTIF SISWA DENGAN GAYA KOGNITIF FIELD DEPENDENT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field dependent. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, subjek penelitian sebanyak dua siswa Kelas VIII B4 SMP Buq’atun Mubarakah yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas instrumen utama, yaitu peneliti, dan instrumen pendukung meliputi tes gaya kognitif, tes kemampuan berpikir reflektif, dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini mengikuti alur kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan gaya kognitif field dependent mampu memenuhi tiga dari lima indikator kemampuan berpikir reflektif, yaitu: mengumpulkan seluruh informasi yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan masalah, menemukan ide yang pertama kali muncul setelah memahami masalah, dan mengembangkan kemungkinan solusi dari informasi yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi baru dengan mengungkap secara mendalam karakteristik kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa bergaya kognitif field dependent pada konteks pemecahan masalah geometri, yang sebelumnya jarang dikaji secara terpisah dari gaya kognitif lainnya.
