PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VII

Abstract
Pelajaran Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang wajib dipelajari pada tingkat pendidikan mulai dari jenjang Sekolah Dasar, sampai dengan perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif berupa Quasi Eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Pembelajaran TPS (Think Pair Share) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Nasional Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VII SMP Nasional Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik random sampling, sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VII SMP Nasional Makassar, yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Deskriptif dan analisis Inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas kontrol sebesar 73,15 sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen hasil pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 84,95. Uji Independent Sample t-tes menunjukan bahwa nilai tHitung = 8,930 > ttabe1 = 2,02439 dapat dilihat dari taraf signifikansinya apabila H0 = Sig ≥ 0,05 diterima atau H1 = Sig < 0,05 diterima diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,088. karena nilai Sig 0,088 < 0,05 dengan demikian H1 diterima, maka ada pengaruh signifikansi model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Nasaional Makassar.
