MENGEMBANGKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MELALUI LINGKUNGAN BELAJAR ACTIVE LEARNING ALJABAR LINEAR LANJUT

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana hasil penerapan instruksi dan aktivitas-aktivitas pembelajaran melalui Active Learning yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis bagi mahasiswa calon guru dalam mata kuliah Aljabar Linear Lanjut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan yang dilaksanakan di Jurusan Matematika FMIPA Universitas Neger Makassar. Sebanyak 32 mahasiswa terlibat dalam lingkungan belajar Active Learning. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan Instrumen Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Observasi Aktivitas Pembelajaran, dan Portofolio. Teknik analisis data dengan tahapan yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, pemeriksaan keabsahan data (triangulasi dan generalisasi hasil penelitian) dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui Active Learning meliputi aspek mendemonstrasikan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan menafsirkan arti apa yang ditulisnya (interpretasi), menganalisis, mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi inferensi, implikasi, dan konsekuensi, mengevaluasi, mngidentifikasi dan mempertimbangkan pengaruh dari masalah kontekstual, dan Regulasi-Diri/ Kemandirian. Aktivitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan meliputi aktivitas individu dan beberapa aktivitas kelompok dengan menuliskan jawaban secara manual (tulis tangan) di kertas jawaban, aktivitas dengan melibatkan spreadsheet, aktivitas dengan Geogebra, dan aktivitas praktek dengan Geogebra. Semakin kompleks dan bertahapnya aktivitas pembelajaran yang diberikan dalam lingkungan belajar Active Learning, maka semakin berkembang keterampilan berpikir kritisnya.
