EFEKTIVITAS MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MATERI TEOREMA PYTHAGORAS

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas multimedia pembelajaran matematika pada materi Teorema Pythagoras. Sebelum uji efektivitas, multimedia pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh pakar dan mengalami revisi berulang kali sehingga didapatkan hasil yang valid untuk digunakan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 6 Makassar, dan subjek penelitiannya adalah Siswa kelas VIII. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan diarahkan untuk menjelaskan keefektifan multimedia pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan. Keefektifan multimedia pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari kategori hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa, dan respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan bersifat efektif, yaitu (1) skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada tes hasil belajar adalah 78,03 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 10,21. Diperoleh 85,29% memenuhi ketuntasan individu yang menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal tercapai; (2) dengan menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran matematika, siswa jadi lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; (3) pada umumnya siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap multimedia pembelajaran yang digunakan; (4) guru dapat membimbing kelompok dalam pembelajaran berbasis multimedia.
