ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SPASIAL SISWA DITINJAU DARI GAYA BELAJAR VISUAL DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH SEGITIGA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan spasial siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah segitiga ditinjau dari gaya belajar visual siswa SMP. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A yang memiliki gaya belajar visual berdasarkan tes tulis yang telah dikerjakan dari kelas tersebut diambil siswa kategori kemampuan tinggi dan sedang. Teknik-pengumpulan_data menggunakan-tes-tertulis-dan-wawancara. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat subjek yang memiliki-kemampuan-kategori-tinggi-dan-kemampuan kategori-sedang. Subjek 1 dapat memenuhi 3 tahapan yang ada pada kemampuan spasial yaitu Visualisasi Spasial, Orientasi Spasial, dan Relasi Spasial. Sedangkan subjek 2 belum mampu memenuhi tahap ketiga tersebut. Sehingga berdasarkan penelitian ini diketahui bahwa kemampuan spasial siswa sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil pengerjaan siswa pada saat menghadapi permasalahan. Guru diharapkan dalam proses pembelajaran lebih sering memberikan soal pemecahan masalah siswa, dan setiap siswa memiliki kemampuan spasial yang berbeda dalam menyelesaikan suatu masalah.
