Peranan karya sastra selalu mengandung nilai-nilai yang dapat memberikan kesan positif. Nilai-nilai tersebut dapat dijadikan pelajaran dan pengajaran bagi manusia. Novel 'Si Anak Pemberani' banyak mengandung nilai pendidikan berupa nilai moral dari teori Linda dan Richard Eyre. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral dalam novel dengan fokus pada nilai keberadaan dan nilai memberi. Metode dalam penelitian meliputi kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat, narasi dan dialog. Hasil penelitian ditemukan nilai-nilai moral yaitu keberanian, kejujuran, kedamaian, kemandirian atau potensi, kedisiplinan atau modernisasi, dan kesetiaan atau kesucian. Nilai-nilai memberi adalah kesetiaan, rasa hormat, cinta kasih, kebaikan dan keramahan, serta keadilan dan belas kasihan. Kontribusi hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi sebagai bahan pertimbangan atau dukungan dalam pengajaran bahasa atau sastra dan bagi penelitian selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk mengembangkan teori yang lebih luas
