Analisis Faktor Determinan Kemampuan Literasi Membaca: Studi Kasus di SMA Negeri 5 Makassar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi motivasi, lingkungan keluarga, dan bahan bacaan terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca siswa. Penelitian di SMA Negeri 5 Makassar tahun 2024 dengan sampel 208 siswa kelas XI. Data dari instrumen kuesioner dan tes. Hasil penelitian bahwa motivasi membaca berdampak pada kemampuan literasi membaca siswa, demikian pula dengan lingkungan keluarga dan bahan bacaan. Selain itu, ada pengaruh gabungan antara motivasi membaca dan lingkungan keluarga, dan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan bahan bacaan terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca. Selain itu, motivasi membaca, lingkungan keluarga, dan bahan bacaan berdampak terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca siswa. Kontribusi penelitian ini kepada pemerintah dan guru untuk memberdayakan lingkungan keluarga sebagai sumber motivasi dan pembiasaan literasi. Penelitian ke depan adalah aspek penggunaan smarphone dalam literasi membaca.
