Keefektifan Metode Group Investigation dalam Pembelajaran Menyimak Puisi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Wajo Kabupaten Wajo

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keefektifan penggunaan metode Group Investigation dan metode konvensional dalam pembelajaran menyimak puisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Wajo Kabupaten Wajo. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen (quasi eksperimen). Populasi penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Wajo Kabupaten Wajo yang berjumlah 257 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling. Sampel yang terpilih yaitu kelas X-E sebagai kelas control dan kelas X- F sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil menyimak puisi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu teknik tes. Data hasil penelitian dianlisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) metode Group Investigation efektif digunakan dalam menyimak puisi. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh banyaknya siswa yang mampu menyimak puisi, yaitu sebesar (76.9%) dengan nilai rata-rata 80; (2) metode konvensional tidak efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menyimak puisi. Hal tersebut dibuktikan oleh kurangnya siswa yang mampu menyimak puisi, yaitu hanya sebesar (33.3%) dengan nilai rata-rata 70; (3) ada perbedaan keefektifan penggunaan metode Group Investigation dengan metode konvensional dalam pembelajaran menyimak puisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Wajo Kabupaten Wajo. Hasil analisis uji-t yang menunjukkan thitung yaitu 3,624. Ini berarti secara signifikan HO ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga ada perbedaan keefektifan penggunaan metode Group Investigation dan metode konvensional dalam pembelajaran menyimak puisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Wajo Kabupaten Wajo. Dalam hal ini, metode Group Investigation lebih efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi parnasian dibandingkan metode konvensional.
