Evaluasi Program Student-Led Conference (SLC) Dalam Meningkatkan Kepemimpinan Siswa

Student-led-conference (SLC) merupakan salah satu strategi untuk mengkomunikasikan hasil belajar siswa dengan orang tua. Berbeda dengan PTC (Parents-teachers conference), di SLC siswa lebih terlibat dan aktif. Penelitian menemukan bahwa konferensi yang dipimpin siswa dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa karena mereka lebih aktif terlibat untuk mempresentasikan dan mendiskusikan peningkatan mereka dengan orang tua mereka. Oleh karena itu, SLH Palopo menggunakan SLC sebagai strategi untuk mengkomunikasikan kemajuan siswa kepada orang tuanya. Namun SLC sebagai program belum pernah dievaluasi secara komprehensif sejak pertama kali diadakan pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product) dengan menganalisis setiap komponen. Aspek-aspek yang dinilai adalah kebutuhan dan tujuan program SLC di SLH Palopo, perangkat SLC, siklus SLC, alur SLC, dan produk yang menjadi kebutuhan dan tujuan tercapai, dan umpan balik orang tua tentang program ini tahun depan. Berdasarkan evaluasi, program ini sudah baik di setiap komponen, namun masih terus ditingkatkan untuk lebih baik lagi. Berdasarkan evaluasi konteks, sekolah perlu membuat kebijakan khusus untuk program ini dalam konteks SLH Palopo. Sebagai masukan, setiap alat di SLC perlu digunakan secara lebih efektif. Dalam prosesnya, sekolah perlu memfasilitasi kegiatan setelah SLC berdasarkan penetapan tujuan siswa dan melibatkan orang tua. Pada produk, fasilitasi umpan balik orang tua pada SLC berikutnya terutama tentang waktu. Oleh karena itu, program ini akan dilanjutkan tahun depan dengan rekomendasi agar lebih baik lagi di lain waktu.
