Abstract
Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan kompetensi esensial dalam pembelajaran matematika, terutama dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita yang menuntut pemahaman kontekstual, analisis mendalam, dan pemecahan masalah. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di Indonesia menunjukkan perlunya inovasi dalam pendekatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau secara sistematis efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode Systematic Literature Review digunakan untuk menganalisis 13 artikel ilmiah yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Problem-Based Learning (PBL) secara konsisten meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui keterlibatan aktif dalam mengidentifikasi, merumuskan, dan menyelesaikan masalah nyata. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) juga mendorong peningkatan pemahaman konsep, kemampuan koneksi matematis, kepercayaan diri, dan kemandirian belajar. Kesimpulan dari studi ini mengindikasikan bahwa Problem-Based Learning (PBL) merupakan pendekatan yang relevan dan efektif dalam pembelajaran matematika abad ke-21, serta layak untuk diimplementasikan secara lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.
