PENGUATAN LITERASI DAN NUMERASI SISWA SD PADA PROGRAM KAMPUS MENGAJAR ANGKATAN 8

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Indonesia. Literasi dan numerasi merupakan keterampilan dasar yang krusial bagi perkembangan akademik dan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Meskipun berbagai upaya telah dilakukan, kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh hasil survei internasional seperti PISA. Program Kampus Mengajar diinisiasi oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai pengajar di sekolah-sekolah yang memerlukan bantuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumen, yang melibatkan siswa, mahasiswa, guru, dan kepala sekolah yang terlibat dalam program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 8 telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa SD melalui program kegiatan mengajar di kelas, gerakan literasi sekolah, dan program giat numerasi. Siswa yang terlibat dalam program ini cenderung memiliki motivasi belajar yang lebih tinggi, percaya diri, dan memiliki keterampilan sosial yang lebih baik.
