Abstract
Kehidupan sehari-hari manusia tak lepas dari pengaruh matematika dan budaya yang saling melengkapi dan membentuk cara kita berpikir serta berinteraksi. Salah satu jembatan antara matematika dan budaya dikenal dengan istilah etnomatematika. Dalam konteks budaya, rumah adat kerap dijadikan simbol identitas suatu daerah. Contohnya adalah Rumah Adat Melayu Atap Lontik yang merepresentasikan kekayaan budayamasyarakat Riau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi dan menganalisis elemen-elemen matematika yang terkandung dalam desain arsitektur Rumah Adat MelayuAtap Lontik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode etnografi, yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi serta mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur matematis dalam struktur rumah adat tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi studi pustaka, observasi langsung di lapangan, dan dokumentasi visual.
