ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS MELALUI GAME EDUKASI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa melalui penggunaan game edukasi, khususnya dalam konteks statistika, terutama mengenai pemusatan data (mean, median, dan modus). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian berupa siswa kelas 8-D di SMP 1 Pasundan, Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 13 hingga 15 Mei 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan game edukasi Wordwall dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi statistika. Dalam uji tulis, sebanyak 69,5% siswa berhasil mencapai nilai KKM setelah menggunakan game edukasi, sementara hanya 30,4% siswa belum mencapai nilai KKM. Selain itu, hasil uji soal melalui media pembelajaran berbantuan game edukasi Wordwall menunjukkan bahwa 82,6% siswa berhasil menjawab 3 dari 3 soal dengan benar. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan game edukasi Wordwall dapat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa, terutama dalam memahami konsep statistika. Meskipun terdapat beberapa siswa yang belum mencapai nilai KKM, namun secara keseluruhan, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah menggunakan game edukasi Wordwall.
