KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS PESERTA DIDIK DITINJAU DARI SELF DIRECTED LEARNING

Abstract
Kemampuan pemecahan masalah dibutuhkan peserta didik untuk menyelesaikan masalah baik di luar ataupun di dalam konteks matematika. Peserta didik membutuhkan self directed learning untuk mengelola pembelajarannya secara mandiri serta mengambil inisiatif untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajarannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis serta self directed learning yang telah dimiliki peserta didik, kemudian menganalisis apakah ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara peserta didik yang memiliki self directed learning tinggi, sedang, maupun rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Peneliti menggunakan seluruh peserta didik kelas X di MA Assa’idiyah Tanggulrejo Manyar sebagai subjek dalam penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian dilakukan dengan cara memberikan angket self directed learning dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang memiliki self directed learning tinggi, sedang, dan rendah.
