Efforts to increase production for shallot farming continue to be carried out intensively which causes soil fatigue, One measure that can be implemented is the use of PGPR. This study aims to analyze the growth and yield responses of shallots to the application of various PGPR concentrations using different planting media. This study was conducted from October to December 2025 using 2-factor Completely Randomized Design. The first factor of different planting media T1: Soil from Rotation land and T2: Soil from Intensive land and the second factor is the dose of PGPR administration consisting of P0: Control without Fertilizer; P1: Inorganic Fertilizer (dose according to recommendations); P2: PGPR 5 ml / L; P3: PGPR 10 ml / L and P4: PGPR 15 ml / L repeated 3 times. The parameters observed were plant height 3, 4 and 5 WAP, Number of leaves 3, 4 and 5 WAP, Number of tillers 3, 4 and 5 WAP number of bulbs and also the weight of bulbs per plant. The results of the study showed that the soil from the rotation land gave the best results in plant height, number of tillers and number of leaves and the application of PGPR at doses of 5 ml/L and 10 ml/L, gave better results in plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers compared to the control or inorganic fertilizer and the combination of intensive soil and PGPR 5 ml/L gave the best results in the number of tillers.
