The objective of this study was to determine the effect of humic acid addition on the growth and yield of watermelon. This research employed a single-factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), namely humic acid treatment with four different concentrations (0, 3, 6, and 9 g/L). The results showed that humic acid application significantly affected vine length, while other observed parameters were not significantly affected. Differences in dosage did not significantly influence fruit weight, fruit circumference, fruit weight per plant, or fruit weight per plot. These findings indicate that increasing the dosage of humic acid did not result in significant changes in watermelon yield. Therefore, the use of humic acid as a soil nutrient supplement can be minimized by applying the lowest effective dose, namely 2 g/L.
