Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Bayam (Amaranthus) Terhadap Pemberian Kompos Limbah Batang Jagung
Response of Growth and Production of Spinach (Amaranthus sp.) to the Application of Corn Stalk Waste Compost
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos limbah batang jagung dan dosis terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bayam di Desa Iloheluma, Kecamatan Tilongkabila, Kabupaten Bone Bolango yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai bulan Maret 2021. Penelitian ini disusun dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari beberapa perlakuan yaitu K0 : kontrol (tanpa perlakuan); K1 : 0,75 kg/bedengan; K2 1,5 kg/bedengan dan K3 : 3 kg/bedengan. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kompos limbah batang jagung memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata dibandingkan dengan kontrol pada variabel pengamatan tinggi tanaman bobot panen, panjang akar dan bobot akar serta perlakuan K3 yaitu dosis 3 kg/bedengan merupakan perlakuan yang terbaik dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainnya.
This study aims to determine the effect of composting corn stalk waste and the best dosage on the growth and production of spinach plants in Iloheluma Village, Tilongkabila District, Bone Bolango Regency which was carried out from February to March 2021. This study used a Group Randomized Design consisting of several treatments, namely K0 : control (without treatment); K1 : 0.75 kg/beds; K2 1.5 kg/beds and K3: 3 kg/beds. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment of corn stalk waste compost had a significantly different effect compared to the control on the observation variables of plant height, harvest weight, root length and root weight and the P3 treatment, namely a dose of 3 kg/beds, was the best treatment compared to the other treatments.
