Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan infografis statis pada materi penyajian data kelas VII. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model problem based learning dengan menggunakan infografis statis sebagai bantuan dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya dengan sampel penelitiannya kelas VII-C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-E sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan cara memperhatikan saran dari guru mata pelajaran matematika SMP Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan literasi matematis pada materi penyajian data. Teknik analisis data berupa statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial dengan menganalisis data N-Gain menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistic 25. Uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro Wilk, dilanjutkan uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene’s dan uji satu rata-rata menggunakan One Sample T-Test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, didapat kesimpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis pada peserta didik yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan infografis statis secara signifikan.
