PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN BERDIFERENSIASI BERBASIS RME UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN NUMERASI SISWA

Abstract
Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis RME yang diterapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa Subjek yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 6 Purworejo dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus 2 kali pertemuan. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan dan lembar tes evaluasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis RME dengan tingkat kemampuan numerasi sebesar 76,6% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 90,4% pada siklus II. Kemudian terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan numerasi berdasarkan indikator: 1) Siswa dapat menggunakan berbagai macam angka-angka dan simbol-simbol dari 81,25% meningkat menjadi 95,55%, 2) Siswa mampu menganalisis informasi yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk (grafik, tabel, bagan, dsb) dari 79,68% meningkat menjadi 87,77%, 3) Siswa mampu menggunakan interpretasi hasil analisis untuk mengambil kesimpulan dari 68,75% meningkat menjadi 87,77%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis RME dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa.
