Pengembangan Media Cerita Bergambar Berbasis Artificial Intelligence untuk Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Siswa Kelas I Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Iman Dempok Diwek Jombang

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Kelas I MI Nurul Iman Dempok, Diwek, Jombang; mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya; mendeskripsikan respons siswa; dan mengidentifikasi perubahan skor membaca permulaan setelah uji coba terbatas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model Borg and Gall ke dalam enam tahapan operasional: analisis kebutuhan, desain produk, pengembangan berbasis AI, validasi ahli, revisi, dan uji coba lapangan terbatas. Uji coba melibatkan 26 siswa Kelas I, sementara produk ditinjau oleh dua validator yang terdiri dari ahli materi dan ahli media. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data meliputi persentase kelayakan, respons siswa, perbandingan pretest-posttest, dan Normalized Gain (N-Gain). Skor agregat validasi ahli adalah 94,25%, yang dikategorikan sangat layak. Rata-rata skor membaca permulaan meningkat dari 63,57 pada pretest menjadi 86,43 pada posttest, dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,62 yang dikategorikan sedang. Respons siswa terhadap media mencapai 94,50%, yang dikategorikan sangat baik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam uji coba terbatas satu kelas, buku cerita bergambar berbasis AI tersebut layak digunakan dan diikuti oleh peningkatan skor membaca permulaan siswa. Namun, temuan ini tidak menetapkan efek kausal atau generalisasi yang lebih luas karena penelitian tidak menyertakan kelompok kontrol atau pengujian signifikansi inferensial.
