Pergolakan Batin Tokoh Pambudi dalam Novel Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak Karya Ahmad Tohari: Kajian Psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud

Abstract
Representasi konflik batin dalam tokoh karya sastra memberikan perspektif penting untuk memahami dinamika kepribadian dalam konteks social dan budaya. Novel Di Kaki Bukit Cibalak karya Ahmad Tohari menampilkan pergolakan psikologis tokoh Pambudi setelah kembali ke kampung halamannya, sehingga relevan dikaji melalui pendekatan psikoanalisis. Penelitian ini menganalisis perubahan kehidupan dan kepribadian tokoh Pambudi berdasarkan pendekatan psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud, khususnya interaksi antara id, ego, dan superego. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa pembacaan mendalam (close reading), serta teknik baca dan catat dengan kutipan teks menjadi data utama. Analisis data dilakukan melalui model interaktif yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan (Ummah). Keabsahan data dan realibilitas data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode triangulasi teori dan triangulasi data. Peneliti akan membandingkan hasil temuan dengan berbagai teori yang relevan deangan psikologi sastra. Data dikumpulkan peniliti melalui kutipan-kutioan novel yang menggambarkan konflik batin tokoh Pambudi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tokoh Pambudi sering mengalami pergolakan batin antara keinginan pribadinya dan norma yang ia yakni. Id tokoh Pambudi muncul dalam bentuk hasrat dan ambisi, ego-nya bekerja sebagai penengah situasi secara logis, dan superego-nya terkait dengan tindakan moral. Temuan ini menegaskan relevansi pendekatan psikonalisis dalam kajian sastra serta membuka peluang penelitian selanjutnya.
