Transformasi Proses Menulis melalui Voice Typing dalam Pembelajaran Teks Deskripsi SMP

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi voice typing dalam pembelajaran teks deskripsi dan mendeskripsikan transformasi proses menulis murid menggunakan voice typing. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yaitu penggunaan voice typing dalam pembelajaran menulis deskripsi. Data penelitian meliputi aktivitas guru, aktivitas murid, situasi pembelajaran, transformasi proses menulis, dan catatan observasi perubahan perilaku menulis murid. Sumber data meliputi narasumber, aktivitas pembelajaran, dan dokumen pembelajaran. Dokumen pembelajaran dan hasil deskripsi murid menjadi sumber data teks. Narasumber meliputi satu orang guru Bahasa Indonesia dan murid kelas VII-A SMP 4 Polokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling, yaitu penentuan sampel yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Validitas data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan voice typing membantu murid dalam menuangkan ide secara lebih lancar melalui dikte suara sebelum dilakukan penyuntingan. Penggunaan voice typing memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap proses menulis teks deskripsi murid. Teknologi ini membantu murid menuangkan ide secara lebih spontan melalui ujaran yang secara otomatis ditranskripsikan menjadi teks. Penggunaan voice typing menunjukkan adanya transformasi dalam proses menulis murid.
