Kecemasan Tokoh Layla dan Majnun dalam Novel Layla dan Majnun: Kajian Psikologi Sastra

Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji kecemasan neurotik tokoh Layla dan Majnun dalam novel Layla dan Majnun karya Nizami Ganjavi melalui perspektif psikologi sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk kecemasan tokoh berdasarkan teori Sigmund Freud dan Karen Horney serta menjelaskan relasi integrasi kedua teori tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-interpretatif. Data berupa narasi, dialog, monolog, deskripsi perilaku, dan simbol naratif yang menunjukkan kecemasan, represi, obsesi, keterasingan, dan strategi relasional neurotik. Sumber data penelitian adalah novel terjemahan bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Layla cenderung menginternalisasi kecemasan melalui kecemasan moral, represi, kepatuhan, pengorbanan diri, dan pembentukan diri ideal, sedangkan Majnun mengeksternalisasi kecemasan melalui obsesi, kecemasan realistis, disorganisasi perilaku, penarikan diri sosial, pelarian, sublimasi, dan fiksasi identitas. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa neurosis tokoh dibentuk oleh konflik intrapsikis dan tekanan sosiokultural yang represif secara simultan.
