Abreviasi dalam Komunikasi Sehari-Hari Siswa Kelas XII SMA Taruna Nusantara Tahun 2023: Suatu Kajian Morfologis
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembentukan abreviasi yang muncul dalam Komunikasi Sehari-Hari Siswa Kelas XII SMA Taruna Nusantara Tahun 2023. Penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah komunikasi sehari-hari siswa Kelas XII SMA Taruna Nusantara Tahun 2023. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan pengamatan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat abreviasi dalam komunikasi para siswa Kelas XII SMA Taruna Nusantara Tahun 2023 yang terdiri atas: 69 akronim, 41 singkatan, 15 penggalan, dan 3 kontraksi. Abreviasi digunakan dalam komunikasi sehari-hari di kalangan siswa kelas XII SMA Taruna Nusantara Tahun karena efektif dan efisien.
