Menguak Isotopi Pandemi Covid-19 dalam Cerpen Koran Digital Indonesia

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan simbolisme isotopi cerita pendek (cerpen) yang dimuat dalam koran digital Indonesia era pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan penelaahan isotopi dengan fokus penggunaan istilah dan konsep dalam setiap narasi serta hubungannya dengan realitas. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa cerpen-cerpen yang dimuat dalam Kompas, Republika, Jawa Pos, Media Indonesia, dan Koran Tempo dalam rentang waktu Maret 2020 hingga Juni 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isotopi sebagai alat ekspresi dalam cerpen untuk menggambarkan perasaan, pengalaman, dan pandangan masyarakat selama masa pandemi. Adapun isotopi yang ditemukan meliputi isotopi kesehatan, isotopi psikologis, isotopi isolasi, isotopi solidaritas, isotopi ketidakpastian, isotopi perubahan sosial, dan isotopi ruang. Analisis ini juga akan membantu memahami pemahaman budaya dan sosial masyarakat Indonesia terhadap pandemi Covid-19 melalui karya sastra serta isu-isu terkait pandemi yang diintegrasikan ke dalam cerita pendek.
