Analisis Gender dalam Novel Geni Jora dan Kartini Karya Abidah El Khalieqy: Kajian Kritik Sastra Feminisme
Abstract
Analisis Gender dalam Novel Geni Jora dan Kartini Karya Abidah El Khalieqy: Kajian Kritik Sastra Feminisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran tokoh perempuan dan bentuk-bentuk diskriminasi gender terhadap perempuan dalam novel Geni Jora dan Kartini karya Abidah El Khalieqy. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu peran tokoh perempuan dalam sektor domestik, peran tokoh perempuan dalam sektor publik, bentuk diskriminasi gender terhadap perempuan yaitu marginalisasi, subordinasi, stereotipe, kekerasan, dan beban kerja dengan data berupa kutipan kalimat, ungkapan, dialog maupun perilaku dan perbuatan tokoh serta apa yang dialami oleh tokoh perempuan. Sumber data dari penelitian ini ialah novel Geni Jora dan novel Kartini karya Abidah El Khalieqy. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan teknik baca, teknik catat, dan kartu data.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran tokoh perempuan dalam novel Geni Jora dan Kartini yaitu peran tokoh perempuan dalam sektor domestik dan perempuan tokoh perempuan dalam sektor publik; bentuk-bentuk diskriminasi gender dalam novel Geni Jora dan Kartini yaitu marginalisasi, subordinasi, stereotipe, dan kekerasan.
