Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keefektifan model picture and picture dalam menulis naskah drama siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Bua Ponrang kabupaten luwu. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Pada penelitian ini siswa sebagai subjek diberikan satu kali pengukuran tes awal (pretest) dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis siswa sebelum adanya perlakuan dan mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan terhadap hasil belajar siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan dan siswa diberikan perlakuan berupa tes akhir (posttes) untuk mengukur keterampilan menulis setelah mendapat perlakuan.
