E-MODUL REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION (RME) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI NUMERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA

Abstract
Rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa menjadi salah satu tantangan dalam pembelajaran matematika yang memerlukan penerapan pendekatan yang kontekstual dan inovatif. Salah satu pendekatan yang dinilai mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan e-modul. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa setelah penerapan pendekatan tersebut pada siswa kelas VIII.A SMP Negeri 12 Palopo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen (Pre- Experimental Design) pendekatan kuantit-atif dengan desain One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu siswa kelas VIII.A SMP Negeri 12 Palopo. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kemampuan literasi numerasi, angket respons siswa, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan literasi numerasi sebelum perlakuan berada pada kategori rendah; (2) setelah perlakuan meningkat ke kategori tinggi; (3) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat baik; (4) respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik; dan (5) nilai N-Gain berada pada kategori tinggi, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga pengujian hipotesis dilanjutkan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil uji tersebut menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbantuan e-modul mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa kelas VIII.A SMP Negeri 12 Palopo.
