MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 31 MAKASSAR MELALUI PENDEKATAN PENGAJUAN MASALAH

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di satu kelas VIII SMP Negeri 31 Makassar melalui penerapan pendekatan pengajuan masalah. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam satu siklus yang terdiri dari lima pertemuan pembelajaran dan satu pertemuan untuk tes hasil belajar, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 29 siswa kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru, angket respons siswa, dan catatan lapangan-refleksi guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif untuk data kuantitatif (hasil belajar, respons siswa, keaktifan siswa, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran) dan analisis kualitatif untuk catatan lapangan- refleksi guru. Di akhir siklus pertama, hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (a) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran mencapai kategori sangat baik, (b) rata-rata siswa yang aktif selama pertemuan pembelajaran mencapai 83%, (c) banyaknya siswa yang mencapai standar ketuntasan hasil belajar mencapai 83%, dan (d) banyaknya siswa yang memberikan respons positif mencapai 86%. Semua hasil penelitian ini memenuhi indikator keberhasilan penelitian. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan pendekatan pengajuan masalah berhasil menyelesaikan masalah pembelajaran yang dihadapi siswa karena hasil belajar mereka sudah meningkat mencapai hasil yang optimal.
