DARI REGULASI DIRI KE PENALARAN MATEMATIS: SEBERAPA KUAT HUBUNGANNYA?

Abstract
Kemampuan penalaran matematis, analisis, penilaian, dan refleksi diri merupakan komponen penting dalam pendidikan matematika karena memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir matematis mereka. Namun, menurut sejumlah penelitian, kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa masih belum memadai. Kapasitas untuk mengatur diri sendiri dan mengelola proses belajar sendiri dikenal sebagai self-regulated learning (SRL). Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan uraian rinci tentang kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa dan tingkat self-regulated learning, serta untuk meneliti korelasi antara keduanya, mengukur kekuatannya, dan mengukur sejauh mana self-regulated learning mahasiswa berkontribusi pada kemampuan penalaran matematis mereka. Metode kuantitatif berdasarkan jenis penelitian korelasional digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini, 22 mahasiswa yang terdaftar dalam program studi pendidikan matematika semester enam dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Tes kemampuan penalaran matematis dan kuesioner self-regulated learning digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dianalisis menggunakan berbagai ukuran seperti statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas dan linearitas, korelasi pearson product moment, dan koefisien determinasi. Penelitian menemukan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematika mahasiswa cukup tinggi (rata-rata 81,18) dan tingkat self-regulated learning mereka cukup tinggi (rata-rata 91,27). Dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,001 dan koefisien korelasi 0,716, temuan uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan secara statistik antara kemampuan penalaran matematis dan self-regulated learning. Dengan hasil ini, dapat dikatakan bahwa korelasi antara kedua variabel tersebut cukup kuat. Koefisien determinasi juga mengungkapkan bahwa kapasitas mahasiswa untuk self-regulated learning menyumbang 51,2% dari keseluruhan kemampuan mereka dalam penalaran matematis. Oleh karena itu, kapasitas berpikir matematika mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan strategi pembelajaran mandiri.
