Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Open-Ended pada materi peluang. Berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam menghasilkan berbagai alternatif penyelesaian terhadap suatu permasalahan. Penerapan pendekatan Open-Ended melalui sebuah persoalan dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu soal tes dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Al-Furqon Driyorejo dengan jumlah 6 subjek penelitian. Objek pada penelitian ini yaitu proses berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Open-Ended. Penelitian yang dilakukan dianalisis melalui pemberian soal Open-Ended yang sesuai dengan indikator berpikir kreatif. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan bahwa proses berpikir kreatif dalam menyelesaikan soal Open-Ended pada siswa dengan kemampuan matematika rendah kurang memahami persoalan dengan benar. Pada siswa dengan kemampuan matematika sedang telah memahami persoalan namun tidak dapat memperinci hasil penyelesaiannya dengan baik. Sedangkan pada siswa dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi ia dapat memahami persoalan, merencanakan penyelesaian, dan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan benar serta beragam.
