EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN GOOGLE SPREADSHEET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGOLAH DATA STATISTIK SISWA KELAS VIII MTSS TQ AL-FALAHIYAH

Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam mengolah data statistik akibat pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional dan kurang kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Google Spreadsheet terhadap kemampuan mengolah data statistik siswa kelas VIII MTsS Takhassus Al-Qur’an Al-Falahiyah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen pretest-posttest control group. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 54 siswa, dengan teknik total sampling, yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan mengolah data statistik yang telah divalidasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata posttest kelompok eksperimen (83,50) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (71,75), serta diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan Google Spreadsheet mampu meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengolah data statistik melalui pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, kontekstual, dan berbasis praktik langsung. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Google Spreadsheet efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran statistika di MTs.
