TREN PENELITIAN TENTANG PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI JURNAL TERINDEKS SINTA TAHUN 2016-2025

Abstract
Penelitian tentang Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran matematika terus berkembang sebagai respons terhadap rendahnya kemampuan matematika peserta didik. Hasil studi Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan matematika peserta didik di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan kurang menarik. Oleh karena itu, banyak penelitian mengkaji penerapan PBL sebagai solusi, sehingga menjadikan topik ini sebagai tren dalam penelitian pendidikan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren penelitian tentang Problem Based Learning (PBL) di jurnal terindeks SINTA tahun 2016-2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data diperoleh dari artikel yang dipublikasi pada jurnal terindeks SINTA dengan topik PBL. Teknik pengumpulan data ialah studi dokumentasi dengan menggunakan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analyses (PRISMA). Sebanyak 162 artikel memenuhi seluruh kriteria, kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan identitas artikel (nama jurnal, tahun terbit, indeks SINTA) dan konten artikel (jenjang pendidikan, rumusan masalah, dan metode penelitian). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tren penelitian PBL dalam pembelajaran matematika pada jurnal terindeks SINTA periode 2016–2025 mengalami perkembangan yang fluktuatif namun cenderung meningkat, serta didominasi oleh penelitian pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dengan fokus utama pada peningkatan hasil belajar dan penggunaan metode eksperimen. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PBL masih menjadi topik yang relevan dan banyak dikaji dalam penelitian pendidikan matematika. Saran bagi peneliti lain untuk memperluas cakupan elemen yang dianalis, sehingga tidak terbatas hanya pada identitas dan konten artikel.
