APLIKASI BAAMBOOZLE DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII MTSN 2 MAROS

Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar matematika siswa akibat pembelajaran yang kurang melibatkan partisipasi aktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Baamboozle terhadap peningkatan minat belajar matematika siswa kelas VII MTsN 2 Maros. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling dan sampel terdiri atas 21 siswa kelas VII C tahun pelajaran 2024/2025. Data diperoleh melalui angket minat belajar, observasi aktivitas siswa, dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial dengan uji prasyarat analisis dan uji paired sample t-test sebagai uji hipotesis. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata skor minat belajar meningkat dari 62,64 menjadi 84,00 setelah penerapan Baamboozle. Uji Paired Sample t-test menghasilkan signifikansi < 0,001, menandakan perbedaan yang signifikan. Nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,57 termasuk kategori sedang, sedangkan partisipasi aktif meningkat dari 54% menjadi 96%. Dengan demikian, media Baamboozle terbukti efektif meningkatkan minat dan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika.
