Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan aplikasi Wordwall terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 3 Jeneponto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment dan desain non-equivalent pretest–posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model TGT berbantuan Wordwall dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika yang telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji independent sample t-test, serta uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor posttest kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model TGT berbantuan Wordwall dan siswa yang belajar menggunakan model PBL. Selain itu, hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori cukup efektif.
