ANALISIS MISKONSEPSI SISWA PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN LINEAR SATU VARIABEL (PLSV)

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi siswa kelas VII dalam menyelesaikan soal materi Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel (PLSV). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 29 siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP di daerah Garut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes diagnostik berbentuk soal uraian, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih mengalami berbagai miskonsespi yang bervariasi, meliputi kesalahan tanda bilangan, operasi variabel dan konstanta, pengabaian tanda negative, penulisan variabel, operasi pecahan, serta pemahaman terhadap permintaan soal. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran PLSV perlu difokuskan pada penguatan pemahaman konseptual, pemberian latihan kontekstual, serta pembiasaan penggunaan notasi dan prosedur yang benar.
