Abstract
Pembelajaran matematika pada materi operasi hitung bilangan cacah di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti rendahnya pemahaman konsep, kesalahan perhitungan, serta kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa akibat penggunaan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan permainan Sudoku terhadap kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan cacah siswa kelas V MI Wali Songo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen melalui desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas (Shapiro-Wilk), uji homogenitas (Levene Test), serta uji hipotesis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test dan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar 23,48, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 5,32. Uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05) dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar 18,88. Dengan demikian, permainan Sudoku terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung bilangan cacah siswa. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi permainan edukatif dapat menjadi strategi inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika.
